How do I find my autocad CTB folder? How do I add a CTB file to autocad?!
I posted an Autodesk Help style post on the subject previously here, but for a more condensed version do as follows:
- Open autocad.
- Type STYLESMANAGER
- This opens the folder location of your CTB files
- Copy the desired CTB files into this folder
- Restart autocad
- Your available plot styles will now have your new CTB files
This is actually very easy and straight forward, if you know where to look…
Firstly, you need to locate your .ctb folder on your computer that AutoCad references.
To do this, select the Tools tab, then click options at the bottom of the list.
Now under the Printer Support File Path tab, click Plot Style Table Search Path.
This shows you the folder you need. Now all you need to do is copy your .ctb file into the folder and restart AutoCad. Please feel free to share this page amongst your friends and colleagues!
